VerbaFit accepts food logs in three ways: USDA FoodData Central search across 800,000 foods, Open Food Facts barcode scan across 2.1 million products, and a GPT-4o photo analysis that estimates macros from a picture of your plate.

How accurate is the body scan?

The scan is not a DEXA. It is a vision-model estimate that is consistent against itself. Most users see body fat within one to two percentage points of their DEXA, and the trend (the change between scans) is more reliable than the absolute number.

Which wearables does VerbaFit work with?

VerbaFit reads HRV and sleep from Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android. That covers Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Fitbit, Samsung Health, and any wearable that writes to those two stores. Direct integrations with Oura and Garmin are on the roadmap.

How long is the Pro free trial?

Pro starts with a seven-day free trial. You can cancel any time from the app or the App Store before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

Does VerbaFit work offline?

You can log workouts and meals offline. Body scans and AI plan generation need a connection because they call a vision model. Your offline logs sync the next time you are online.

Is my body scan data private?

Your body photos and metrics live in your account, encrypted at rest, and never sold. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from settings.
