The service

VerbaFit is a health and fitness tracking app. It stores what you log, calculates what it can calculate, and gives you coaching suggestions based on your own data.

Not medical advice

VerbaFit is a general wellness tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician.

Nothing in VerbaFit is a recommendation to start, stop, or change any medication or treatment. If you have ankylosing spondylitis or any other condition, those decisions belong with your rheumatologist or primary care doctor. If you are in acute pain, feverous, or acutely unwell, seek medical care rather than an app.

Your accounts

You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you have a chronic inflammatory condition, the paid tier is free to you permanently; you unlock that by self-attesting, and we ask for no medical records to verify it.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you log: your photos, your meals, your measurements, your notes. We claim no ownership over it.

If you donate a period of data to research, you are granting us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in anonymised aggregate form, as described on the privacy page.

Availability and changes

VerbaFit is offered as-is. Features can change or be withdrawn. If a change materially reduces what a paid subscriber gets, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
