VerbaFit vs Bearable
Bearable is a flexible mood and symptom tracker. VerbaFit is a body, recovery, and AS tracker with a coach. Bearable logs how you feel; VerbaFit also logs what your body is doing and what you ate.

What Bearable does well
Bearable's custom-factor model lets you track almost anything — pain, fatigue, mood, sleep quality, digestion, skin — and correlate it against medications, supplements, activities, and food. The chart engine is very good at surfacing correlations in your own data, and the clinician PDF export is respected in the chronic-illness community.
That flexibility is also the cost: a new user can spend a long time configuring before logging a single data point. The free tier is generous.
What VerbaFit adds
Instrumented data next to the self-report: a body scan from the camera, HRV and sleep from your watch via Apple Health or Health Connect, and an 84-nutrient food log. Disease-specific instruments for AS — BASDAI, BASMI, flare log with clinician PDF, biologics directory — none of which exist in Bearable.
A coach that talks back. The VerbaFit coach reads your logs and answers in plain language, by voice if you prefer. Bearable is a tracker, not a coach.
When to use which
Use Bearable if you want a fully custom self-report tool and are willing to configure it. Use VerbaFit if you want AS instruments, a coach, and your body data in the same place. Many people with chronic illness run a qualitative tracker alongside a quantitative one.
