VerbaFit vs Fitbod
Fitbod is a workout generator with excellent set-by-set tracking. VerbaFit generates workouts too, and reads your symptoms around them. Fitbod plans the session; VerbaFit also knows when a flare day should be mobility only.

What Fitbod does well
Fitbod's generator accounts for your equipment, training history, per-muscle recovery, and goals, and produces a session that is genuinely different each time. The set-by-set volume tracking is excellent, the exercise library is large and well categorised, and the Apple Watch app is among the best in the category.
What VerbaFit adds
Symptom-aware sessions: when your morning symptom log says flare, the generated plan becomes a mobility-only day with no loading. A body scan from three phone photos. A coach that explains the plan in plain language or out loud. VerbaFit reads HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android. Each metric is available only if your device or its companion app writes it to the system store and you grant permission. There are no direct device or account connections yet, and device-specific scores (such as WHOOP strain, Oura readiness, or Garmin Body Battery) do not come through unless the underlying metric is shared.
An 84-nutrient food log, and a free AS program — BASDAI, BASMI, flare log, clinician PDF, biologics directory — for people whose training has to work around a flare.
When to use which
Use Fitbod if you want the best set-by-set tracker during the workout. Use VerbaFit if you want the plan to respect a flare day, or you have AS. They can run side by side.
