VerbaFit vs Oura Ring
Oura is a sleep ring. VerbaFit is an app. Oura measures your night; VerbaFit puts what your wearable shares next to your food, your symptoms, and a coach, and adds an 84-nutrient food log, a body scan, and a free AS program.

What Oura does well
Oura has published validation work on its sleep staging, the ring is comfortable for people who will not wear a watch, and the battery lasts about a week. The temperature trend and readiness features are well regarded. For sleep-first tracking, it is a strong choice.
What VerbaFit adds
VerbaFit reads HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android. Each metric is available only if your device or its companion app writes it to the system store and you grant permission. There are no direct device or account connections yet, and device-specific scores (such as WHOOP strain, Oura readiness, or Garmin Body Battery) do not come through unless the underlying metric is shared. Oura's sleep stages and heart-rate data reach VerbaFit that way, and the coach reads your recent HRV and sleep; Oura's own readiness score does not come through.
On top of that: an 84-nutrient food log, a body scan from three phone photos, an AI coach, and an ankylosing spondylitis program that is free for anyone with the diagnosis.
When to use which
If you already own an Oura, keep it and let its data flow through Apple Health or Health Connect. If you do not, VerbaFit works with whatever you have, including no wearable at all.
